The people behind Writers Qi
Anjali founded Writers Qi, a professional overseas education consultancy, to assist students with their undergraduate applications. She helps students find their interests and mentors them through the process. Drawing on several years of experience in writing, she mentors students for essay writing for college-admissions over the past six years.
She has helped students win 100% scholarships to top US universities. Her students have been placed in top institutes in USA such as Wharton, Cornell, NYU, Scripss, UCLA, Wellesley and LSE (UK) and LBS (UK) among others. She is a special consultant to Shiv Nadar Vidya Gyan schools for international admissions.
Anjali writes children's books and was awarded by the Young Women's FICCI Ladies Organisation (2013-14) for her contribution to children's literature in India. She is also the co-founder of The Shift Series that holds motivational conferences for youth and women. Currently, she lives in New Delhi with her husband and two daughters.
An educator by chance, Rachna never set out to be a teacher, but today is most at ease while working with young adults as they prepare to step into the fray of college applications.
Working with a leading educational institute in Delhi, Rachna put in place initiatives to nurture the reading habit and bring the world of books to life for her students. As a partner in The Shift Series team, Rachna has conceptualized and organised programs for lifelong learners.

An integral member of the Angels Network, Rachna continues to work on social entrepreneurship projects as well.
India is where her heart belongs and she moved back with her family after spending nearly 18 years between New York and Hong Kong. She has a Masters in Psychology from the University of Hartford and at the age of 45 got her B ED degree. Some of the acceptances that her students have received include but are Northwestern University, University of Virginia, Georgetown University and Northeastern University.
