Not All Universities Are Aid-Friendly to Internationals

In the United States, the majority of universities offer significantly less aid to international students than to domestic ones. Merit-based scholarships are competitive awards often separate from institutional aid packages. Many mid-ranked universities use large merit scholarships to attract high-achieving international students. A full or partial scholarship to a well-regarded university is frequently a better financial outcome than minimal aid at a prestigious one. Build your list with this in mind.

Apply for Everything , Early

External scholarships, government funding programmes, and partner organisation grants are available across nearly every field and nationality. Most students do not apply for these simply because they do not know they exist. Research thoroughly in Year 11. Deadlines often fall before university application cycles even begin.
